Temera and MHART announce their strategic partnership with the aim of offering high-level automation solutions for logistics activities in the Fashion & Luxury sector.
Two Italian companies renowned for their excellence and commitment to innovation are pooling their vision to create logistics automation projects leveraging IoT sensors and mechanized material handling solutions.
Temera, a leader in IoT solutions designed for the fashion & luxury sector, together with MHART, which specializes in the design, production, and integration of overhead handling systems for clothing management, announce their strategic collaboration.
The partnership aims to promote the development of highly automated projects in the logistics field through the use of RFID technology and single-item handling lines designed and manufactured by MHART. These are capable of separating and managing garments in a process where handling and traceability are integrated in a fully automated manner.
A first concrete application is the t!Conveyor product developed in MHART's laboratories by the research and development teams of the two companies: a system for the aerial handling and sorting of clothing hung on individual hangers, capable of managing specific operational processes in a fully automated manner – primarily the reception, order composition, and/or pre-dispatch phases – which require counting, identification, inventory certification, and possible sorting of the product.
Through a series of automated components, the garments are first counted and then checked for quality through RFID readings: the comparison with the expected results is then managed to be sorted to the operational areas or where it is immediately checked if an anomaly is detected in the specific product or work order.
The target customers for this system are all companies in the fashion and luxury sector operating in the production and logistics fields that need automated, flexible, scalable, and high-performance solutions for managing their internal processes. The t!Conveyor solution is functional for every aspect of omnichannel distribution—from wholesale to retail, e-commerce, and returns management—and allows for full flexibility in volume and order growth.
The t!Conveyor system is fully integrated with the Temera Stylewhere platform, the exclusive technological enabler capable of guiding the digital authentication of products and tracking them throughout the entire value chain.
The solution is available in a fully integrated and operational demo version at the MHART headquarters in Gessate (Milan), where interested customers can test their garments on the system in both hanging and flat bag modes.
